CoolSculpting marketing medstar media Why CoolSculpting Marketing Requires More Than Device Recognition
Patient Search Behavior

CoolSculpting Is Well Known. Getting Patients to Choose You Is the Challenge.

CoolSculpting has something many aesthetic devices spend years trying to achieve: strong consumer name recognition. Plenty of patients already know about fat freezing before they ever reach your website.

But recognition does not automatically translate into appointments.

Patients have more body-contouring choices than ever, and they research everything from CoolSculpting and cryolipolysis to muscle-building devices, laser fat reduction, skin tightening, liposuction, and other non-surgical options.

Their searches may include:

The opportunity is much bigger than ranking for “CoolSculpting near me.”

Someone frustrated by stubborn abdominal fat may begin with “how to get rid of lower belly fat.” Another may search for non-surgical alternatives to liposuction. Someone who already knows about CoolSculpting may be comparing providers, pricing, treatment areas, reviews, and before-and-after results.

Your marketing strategy needs to reach patients at each stage.

That means building visibility around CoolSculpting itself while also targeting cryolipolysis, non-surgical fat reduction, body contouring, specific treatment areas, and the concerns that lead patients to consider treatment in the first place.

Once patients reach your practice, your marketing has another job: setting realistic expectations.

CoolSculpting is designed for targeted fat reduction, not overall weight loss. Clearly explaining that distinction can help attract better-qualified leads while giving prospective patients the information they need to decide whether treatment fits their goals.

Effective CoolSculpting marketing does not simply generate awareness. It connects the right patient with the right treatment and gives them a reason to choose your practice over every other body contouring provider in the market.

The Page Itself

Build a CoolSculpting Page That Answers What Patients Actually Want to Know

A logo and manufacturer description are not enough to differentiate your practice.

High-performing CoolSculpting pages should include:

Patients may arrive because they recognize the CoolSculpting name. Your page needs to convince them to have treatment at your practice.

The System

How We Build Demand for CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting marketing works best when you position the treatment within the larger patient journey. We connect SEO, paid media, educational content, local search, social proof, conversion strategy, and lead nurturing to turn interest in body contouring into qualified consultations.

01

Social Media That Shows What Body Contouring Really Looks Like

Body contouring is inherently visual.

That makes social media an important place to showcase real treatment experiences, provider expertise, treatment areas, before-and-after results, and realistic expectations.

Instead of relying entirely on polished manufacturer content, we help practices build content around the questions patients actually have.

What happens during a session? Which areas can be treated? What does recovery look like? When might changes become noticeable? Who is a good candidate? What does a real treatment plan involve?

Showing the process makes the treatment less abstract and gives prospective patients a better sense of what to expect before they ever schedule a consultation.

02

Educational Content That Captures More Than "CoolSculpting Near Me"

Some of your best prospective patients do not know they want CoolSculpting yet.

They know they have stubborn fat that has not responded the way they hoped to diet and exercise.

That creates opportunities for content around topics such as:

  • CoolSculpting for belly fat
  • Fat freezing for love handles
  • Non-surgical double chin reduction
  • CoolSculpting vs liposuction
  • CoolSculpting vs Emsculpt NEO
  • Fat reduction vs weight loss
  • How cryolipolysis works
  • What happens to fat after CoolSculpting
  • How many CoolSculpting treatments may be needed
  • When to schedule body contouring before an event
  • Non-surgical body contouring options

This content helps your practice capture prospective patients earlier while building authority around body contouring overall.

03

Local SEO Built Around High-Intent Body Contouring Searches

CoolSculpting is a local service.

Once someone decides they are interested, searches often become increasingly specific: “CoolSculpting near me,” “fat freezing near me,” “CoolSculpting in [city],” or “best CoolSculpting provider near me.”

We strengthen the local signals that help your practice compete for those searches.

That includes optimizing your Google Business Profile, improving location and treatment pages, strengthening review generation, maintaining accurate business information, developing locally relevant content, and creating stronger connections between your practice, location, and body contouring services.

04

Paid Ads That Capture Patients Ready to Reduce Stubborn Fat

Paid search lets your practice appear when someone is actively looking for CoolSculpting, cryolipolysis, fat freezing, or non-surgical body contouring.

But successful campaigns need more than the right keywords.

Ad messaging, landing pages, offers, treatment education, before-and-after results, provider credibility, and lead follow-up all influence whether that click becomes revenue.

We also use paid social and retargeting to stay visible to patients who have researched treatment but are not ready to book after their first interaction.

A patient may visit several body contouring providers before choosing one. Your marketing needs to keep your practice in that consideration set.

05

Turn Body Contouring Traffic Into Qualified Consultations

Not every CoolSculpting lead is a good CoolSculpting candidate.

That makes conversion strategy particularly important.

Your website should help prospective patients understand the difference between targeted fat reduction and weight loss before they schedule.

It should also answer the questions most likely to hold someone back:

How much does CoolSculpting cost?
Which areas can be treated?
How many sessions might I need?
What happens during treatment?
Is there downtime?
When will I see changes?
How long do results last?
How is CoolSculpting different from other body contouring options?

Answering these questions does more than improve conversion. It helps your practice generate better-informed leads.

06

Nurture Leads Through a Longer Decision Process

Body contouring patients do not always book immediately.

Treatment cost, upcoming vacations, weddings, seasonal goals, comparison shopping, and uncertainty about which technology to choose can all extend the decision-making process.

That means your follow-up cannot end after one phone call.

We build email, text, CRM, and retargeting strategies that keep educating prospective patients and keep your practice visible while they decide.

Once someone becomes a patient, continued communication can also support treatment-plan completion and introduce complementary services when appropriate.

The Audit

Where CoolSculpting Marketing Usually Leaks Revenue

CoolSculpting practices often invest heavily in technology and advertising but lose opportunities at several critical points between the first search and the final booking.

The Website Relies Too Heavily on Brand Recognition

Patients knowing the CoolSculpting name does not mean they understand the treatment.

A generic manufacturer description does little to answer the questions that determine whether someone actually schedules.

Your page needs to explain CoolSculpting through the patient’s goals, concerns, expectations, and decision-making process.

The Marketing Focuses Only on "CoolSculpting"

Patients may be searching for a solution, not a brand.

If your strategy only targets CoolSculpting keywords, you can miss people searching for fat freezing, cryolipolysis, stubborn belly fat, non-surgical fat reduction, love handle treatments, double chin reduction, and body contouring.

The strongest strategy captures the entire search ecosystem surrounding the treatment.

Every Body Contouring Lead Gets the Same Message

Someone searching for lower abdominal fat may have very different goals from someone concerned about submental fullness or love handles.

Landing pages, advertising, content, and follow-up become more relevant when they speak directly to the patient’s concern instead of treating every body contouring lead exactly the same.

Leads Disappear After the First Inquiry

CoolSculpting can take longer to consider than lower-cost aesthetic treatments.

If someone doesn’t book immediately, that doesn’t necessarily mean the lead is lost.

Structured follow-up, retargeting, educational content, and CRM workflows keep your practice visible until the patient is ready to decide.

Skinney Medspa · New York, NY

$2.3M+ in Added Annual Revenue Within 18 Months

Skinney Medspa was already a Medstar client when they invested in new technology for their practice. Instead of waiting for the equipment to arrive, we began developing and publishing content in advance, giving the practice time to build search visibility before treatments officially launched.

We paired that content strategy with paid media built around the same messaging. By the time the technology was available, the marketing infrastructure was already creating patient demand.

$2.3M+ in added annual revenue within 18 months, alongside a 7x increase in lead volume across organic and paid channels.

Everything Practices Ask Before Marketing Fat Freezing

CoolSculpting & Cryolipolysis Marketing FAQs

In most cases, yes. A dedicated page gives you room to target high-intent searches while explaining candidacy, treatment areas, cost, results, recovery, provider experience, and what makes your practice different.

It also creates a stronger destination for paid search campaigns than sending body contouring traffic to a general services page.

Ideally, your strategy should account for both.

CoolSculpting captures patients familiar with the brand, while terms such as cryolipolysis, fat freezing, non-surgical fat reduction, and body contouring can reach patients searching more broadly.

We also build visibility around specific concerns and treatment areas so your strategy doesn’t depend on a single keyword.

Yes. In fact, having multiple technologies can create a stronger marketing opportunity.

Instead of forcing every patient into one treatment, your content can explain how different technologies address different goals. That positions the practice as a body contouring resource rather than simply a provider of one device.

Common searches may include:
  • CoolSculpting near me
  • CoolSculpting cost
  • CoolSculpting before and after
  • Fat freezing near me
  • Cryolipolysis near me
  • CoolSculpting for belly fat
  • CoolSculpting for love handles
  • CoolSculpting for double chin
  • Non-surgical fat reduction
  • CoolSculpting vs liposuction
  • Best body contouring near me
We expand beyond these high-intent terms to target the concerns and questions that lead patients toward treatment.

For many CoolSculpting practices, the strongest strategy uses both.

Paid search helps capture people already looking for treatment, while SEO creates longer-term visibility across CoolSculpting, cryolipolysis, treatment areas, comparisons, body contouring questions, and local searches.

The device may be the same. The patient experience is not.

We differentiate your practice through provider expertise, consultation experience, treatment planning, real results, reviews, pricing clarity, patient education, complementary services, and the overall treatment experience.

CoolSculpting may bring someone to your website. Your practice still has to give them a reason to book.

As quickly as possible.

Body contouring patients frequently compare multiple providers and treatment options. Fast, helpful follow-up keeps your practice involved in that decision while patient interest is high.

We help practices improve automated confirmations, text and email communication, front desk workflows, scheduling, and longer-term nurture.

Yes. We look beyond advertising to see where potential patients drop off.

That includes landing pages, forms, offers, scheduling, lead response time, phone handling, consultation processes, and follow-up.

They enter a nurture strategy rather than disappearing.

Educational emails, text follow-up, retargeting, before-and-after content, treatment FAQs, and strategic reactivation can keep your practice visible throughout the decision process.

We focus on metrics tied to actual business growth, including qualified leads, booked consultations, acquisition costs, conversion rates, treatment revenue, return on ad spend, and patient value.

Generating a lead is only one step. The real goal is turning marketing activity into measurable treatment revenue.

Medstar specializes in aesthetic, wellness, and medical marketing, so we understand that generating a lead is only part of the job.

We look at the complete patient journey, including SEO, paid media, treatment pages, local search, content, reputation, lead response, front desk performance, nurture, conversion, and retention.

That lets us identify not only where you need more leads, but also where existing marketing opportunities may already be leaking revenue.

No. We work across aesthetic medicine, including body contouring, injectables, lasers, RF microneedling, skin rejuvenation, medical weight loss, and wellness.

For practices with multiple body contouring technologies, we can build a broader strategy that helps patients understand their options and guides them toward the treatment that fits their goals.

I make internet pictures that try to win people’s attention. Basically, I figure out what will make someone stop scrolling, look twice, and hopefully think, “Hmm, I want that.”
Canva. We’ve spent an unreasonable amount of time together. It’s quick, flexible, and lets me go from a random idea to something people can actually see and react to without making the process unnecessarily complicated.
I’m surprisingly good at making things look effortless, after several very non-effortless attempts. I enjoy taking messy ideas, lots of information, or vague feedback and turning them into something clear and easy to understand.
Don’t guess what works. Test it. Something can look brilliant in theory and completely flop in practice, so I’d rather let the audience tell us what works and keep improving from there.

There are steps needed when handling leads to get the best results possible. It is my job to train practices in these steps and to make sure that, after the training, these steps are taken. I follow up with the teams to address areas of opportunity to constantly improve the lead management process.
My favorite marketing tool is the Medstar App, especially when it’s set up correctly for lead management, automations, follow-up, SMS/email campaigns, and pipeline visibility. It helps connect marketing efforts directly to conversion outcomes.
Besides a magnetic smile, I bring strong lead-management and process-optimization skills. I’m good at reviewing workflows, finding gaps, and helping teams turn more leads into booked appointments.
Don’t let good leads die because of slow follow-up. Marketing gets the lead in the door, but the process behind it is what actually closes the appointment.

Behind the Screens

I help businesses show up when people search for things on Google. It’s kind of like helping a business put up the right signs so people can find their way to it, only you’re looking online instead of in person.
Google Search Console. I love digging through search data and finding little opportunities hiding in plain sight. It feels a bit like detective work.
Professionally, I’m surprisingly good at turning a big, messy pile of information into something organized and actionable. Personally, I’m a seasoned pro at collecting hobbies.
Don’t create content for algorithms; create it for people. Understand what your audience actually wants to know, then use SEO to help them find it.

I usually step away from the project and do something creative, such as painting, drawing, or listening to music. Giving my mind a break often helps the missing puzzle piece fall into place. When I need inspiration, I like exploring other creative outlets and using them to approach the project from a new perspective.
Spending time with my family and friends! I really value the people around me and enjoy slowing down, being present, and staying offline during those moments.
Always consider the customer and their needs before creating a strategy or plan. One should guide the other. When you understand your audience and maintain strong communication with the client, digital marketing projects tend to run more smoothly and successfully.
Honestly, I’d say Instagram. I love using it to spot trends, see what people are responding to, and understand how brands are connecting with their audiences. A lot of my best ideas come from observing what feels natural on the platform and then finding a way to make it work for the brand.
Positivity! I’m usually the one cheering people on, celebrating the little wins, and bringing good energy to the conversation.

I love putting on some music, it always helps me get into the right headspace and set the tone for my design work. Matching the vibe of the music to the brand’s aesthetic is my favorite way to find fresh creative motivation.
When I’m off the clock, I love walking the nature trails near my home or relaxing with a good book. Anything that gets me away from screens to recharge.
Always ask yourself if the content you’re creating will truly resonate with your audience. It needs to feel personal and authentic, rather than just pushing out content for the sake of it.

Definitely Adobe After Effects. It’s my absolute go-to for editing video content, especially for social media. With so many options for detailed motion graphics, I really couldn’t live without it.

I love using my design skills to bring a client’s vision to life. Seeing them excited about the final result is the best feeling, and I thrive on collaborating hand-in-hand to build their brand.

When I’m off the clock, I love spending quality time with my two kids—whether we’re playing or just hanging out, I try to be as present as possible with them. It’s the best way for me to recharge and stay grounded.

My favorite digital marketing tool is Canva because it makes designing quick, easy, and fun, especially with the wide variety of templates available. It’s great for creating polished content efficiently.

One piece of advice I always follow is to keep learning—digital marketing is constantly evolving, so staying curious and adaptable really makes a difference. It helps you stay ahead and bring fresh ideas to the table.

When I feel stuck, I like to step away and go for a walk to get some fresh air; it helps me reset and come back with a clearer, more creative mindset. Even a short break can make a big difference.

I also bring a graphic design background to the team, which helps me review mockups with a trained eye and offer thoughtful, practical feedback to clients. It allows me to bridge both strategy and visual execution effectively.

Behind the Screens

During the week, I’m certainly a home-body! I’m within walking distance to pilates, so I do love to take advantage of that as well as get outside and go for a walk on the lake. Outside of that, I love to try new recipes, spend time with my dog and binge the best reality TV. On the weekend, I’m an avid errand runner, so you’ll find me out and about getting coffee, running to Target at least 3 times, and taking part in some sort of self-care routine!
Most people build their career around a title – I built mine around an industry I have a genuine passion for. Over the past 10 years in aesthetics, I’ve worked across operations, practice management, sales, marketing, customer success, and coaching. Because of that, I’m able to do more than just fulfill a role! I understand the moving parts, pressures, and responsibilities that go into helping an aesthetic practice truly thrive.
My goal in everything I do is to make a positive impact in the people’s lives I’m introduced to, whether that’s for the short term or the long term. There’s very few places people can go to with an insecurity or something they want to fix – or my preferred way of seeing it, enhance. This industry allows you to be a part of that. You meet people from all different walks of life, get to know them on a personal level and be a part of sometimes the best and worst stories of their lives in real time. We get to shape that experience in a positive way. And working with our clients where we focus on bringing these new patients to them, allows me to be a part of a positive experience that touches so many more people. I’m a big believer that whenyou keep the people you work with happy, that translates down to the client themselves, their team and then to their patients. That brings me so much fulfillment – a single experience can change everything.
You have to take your personal bias out of what you think works. Sometimes what you think may be the best ad you’ve ever launched, produces the lowest results. Marketing is a strategy and where quality is always a top priority, success is number one! An algorithm can be unpredictable, so trust what the data and analytics are showing you and let’s use them to accurately monitor the outcomes!
I love to step away for a moment and purge. When I’m feeling stuck or at a standstill, it’s time to make room for new ideas and to get my brain flowing in a whole new way. Sometimes that’s a small project like finding a junk drawer and decluttering. Other times it’s my closet or my garage! But when I am able to spend time getting rid of things, I get super inspired by a newly organized space and start thinking of all the new things I could do to continue improving – it then spirals to all aspects and I feel completely re-energized and re-focused!

Imagine your school principal has SO many things to do that they can’t keep track of everything by themselves. The Chief of Staff is the person who helps organize things, reminds people what to do, solves problems, and makes sure everyone works together nicely, like the person who keeps the whole team running smoothly.
When I’m off the clock, I’m usually with my husband and our two boys — swimming, traveling, spending time at the beach, and being talked into roller coasters at Universal Studios that I immediately regret. I’m also a big musical theater fan, love singing whenever I get the chance, and am always looking for new restaurants and recipes to try. And once the kids are asleep, you can usually find me unwinding with a true crime documentary or a little too much Bravo reality TV.
My guilty pleasure in the digital world is definitely TikTok — I’ll tell myself I’m just going to “check one thing,” and suddenly I’ve fallen into an hour of everything from recipes to random deep dives I didn’t know I needed.
I’m surprisingly calm. No matter how hectic things get or how many moving parts are in play, I tend to stay steady, think clearly, and help keep things grounded so the team can focus and move forward without the panic spiral.
I usually spark creativity by stepping away from whatever I’m stuck on and getting outside for a walk. Fresh air and movement help reset my thinking, and I’ll usually put on music to shift my mood and break out of the loop I’m in. That combination helps me come back with a clearer head and new ideas.
